1) User must be trained and qualified before operating the equipment. Do not use this equipment when hands are wet or relative humidity exceeds 75%.
2) Wiring (connection) and installation of the equipment correctly according to manual and instruction to avoid operation errors and accidents.
3) The F.G. terminal of the lightning surge generator should be well grounded.
4) As high-voltage pulses are applied to the output terminals (such as 2W, 500W, L1, L2, L3, etc.), if changing the wiring, it is necessary to confirm that the high-voltage power supply is disconnected before proceeding.
5) Some of the surge generators adopt high-pressure mercury switch to generate high-voltage pulses, it is strictly prohibited to conduct tests while the equipment is tilted. It contains high voltage and should not be disassembled or opened for operation. In case of emergency, please press the EMERGENCY button, which will quickly stop the surge output, turn off the internal high voltage, and quickly cut off the power supply.
6) To ensure the comparability and repeatability of the lightning surge generator test, the test configuration must be standardized, and non-relevant personnel are forbidden to operate the instrument.
